The Offspring es una banda de punk rock de Orange County, California, originalmente formada en 1984. Actualmente está integrada por Dexter Holland, vocalista y guitarrista rítmico, Noodles, guitarrista, Greg K, bajista y Atom Willard, baterista. A pesar de que básicamente son una banda de punk y de rock alternativo incorporan muchos estilos como ska, grunge, hard rock y heavy metal entre otros. Se les clasifica también como hardcore melódico, estilo al que contribuyeron substancialmente a propagar por todo el mundo.
